I’m holding a fear funeral, and three familiar freeloaders are being lowered into the ground: perfectionism, procrastination, and pussyism. Today’s Unfuckable, Ink. podcast delivers the eulogy. Here on The 412 Biz Drop, I’m interested in what happens when everybody leaves the cemetery and you still have a business to build.
Because a good episode can make you nod so hard your earrings file a complaint. Then you close the app, reopen the same unfinished offer, and spend another afternoon adjusting the banner. The deceased have apparently borrowed your laptop.
YOUR EXCUSES HAVE BEEN DRAWING A SALARY
I want you to look at the work that never reached another human being. The service you never priced. The download you never listed. The pitch you kept rewriting until the person you meant to contact changed jobs.
That unfinished work has a cost, even when no money changes hands. You lose opportunities to find out what customers need, what they will pay for, and what requires improvement. A private masterpiece cannot answer any of those questions.
Perfectionism keeps requesting revisions. Procrastination keeps rescheduling the appointment. Pussyism, my impolite name for fear running the meeting, keeps insisting you should be grateful where you are. I have heard enough from this committee.
A FEAR FUNERAL NEEDS SOMETHING TO BURY
I’m not asking you to become fearless by dinner. I’m asking you to identify one behavior you are finished financing. “I keep delaying my launch because I’m afraid nobody will buy” gives you something concrete to work with.
Then name the action that interrupts it. Put the offer in front of one potential customer. State the price without apologizing. Publish the useful version you can deliver properly, and improve it with actual feedback. Leave room for learning; stop leaving your entire future in the waiting room.
If the planner becomes another beautiful thing you complete instead of making that move, the peas have acquired stationery. The point is to leave the page and do something.

THE EPISODE, THE BOOK, AND THE BURIAL
I built today’s conversation around the three thieves at the heart of Shōshin, my book available on Amazon. Procrastination, perfectionism, and pussyism can make a capable person spend years preparing for a life they never actually begin.
The podcast brings that theft into the room. The book carries the conversation further. My Fear Funeral Planner gives the burial a place on paper, so the decision has somewhere to land beyond “that episode was good.”
I’m bringing the book and planner into the shop’s digital downloads, too. The purpose is to make getting started easier, while the work still belongs to you. Buying a tool does not complete the task you bought it to tackle.
LEAVE THE CEMETERY WITH A DEADLINE
Listen to Unfuckable, Inc., then choose one unfinished business move and give it a deadline you can keep. Click here for a preview of Shōshin and the Fear Funeral Planner as the downloads arrive.
Your fear funeral ends when the behavior changes. I want evidence: an offer sent, a price stated, a product listed. The flowers are lovely. They cannot run your business.
